Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Chandler, Arizona. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate processing of payroll and related financial functions while utilizing various accounting software systems. This position requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining compliance with payroll regulations. Responsibilities: - Process payroll transactions using accounting software systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Verify and audit payroll data for compliance with internal policies and government regulations. - Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address discrepancies and resolve payroll-related issues. - Manage accounts payable and benefit functions with precision and attention to detail. - Utilize systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Dayforce to support payroll operations. - Maintain up-to-date records of employee information and payroll adjustments. - Assist with auditing payroll processes to identify and correct errors. - Support month-end reporting and reconciliation tasks related to payroll. - Provide excellent customer service to employees with payroll inquiries. - Contribute to process improvements and system optimizations for payroll workflows. Requirements - Proficiency in accounting software systems, including ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian. - Solid experience in payroll processing and auditing practices. - Knowledge of accounts payable and benefit functions. - Familiarity with systems such as Dayforce and About Time. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. - Understanding of payroll compliance and regulations.
