Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D)

Location: Manahawkin, NJ

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Weekly Gross Pay: $2,481/week

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care and support to patients throughout the childbirth process. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work within a dynamic care team focused on maternal and infant health in a well-respected healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor mother and baby throughout labor and delivery

• Assist physicians and certified nurse-midwives during labor and birth

• Administer medications, including epidurals and induction agents

• Provide emotional support, guidance, and education to patients and families

• Maintain detailed documentation of patient care and progress

• Handle emergencies quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations

• Support postpartum care and initial newborn assessments

Unit Info:

This is a LDPR unit (Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Recovery).
Mother/Baby and Nursery experience is preferred but not required.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN License (New Jersey – in good standing)

• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience – Required

• Certifications – All Must Be AHA Approved:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required

  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
