Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D)
Location: Manahawkin, NJ
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,481/week
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care and support to patients throughout the childbirth process. Responsibilities:Monitor mother and baby throughout labor and delivery
Assist physicians and certified nurse-midwives during labor and birth
Administer medications, including epidurals and induction agents
Provide emotional support, guidance, and education to patients and families
Maintain detailed documentation of patient care and progress
Handle emergencies quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations
Support postpartum care and initial newborn assessments
This is a LDPR unit (Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Recovery).
Mother/Baby and Nursery experience is preferred but not required.
Active RN License (New Jersey – in good standing)
Minimum 1–2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience – Required
Certifications – All Must Be AHA Approved:
BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
