• Location: Madison, CT 06443
• Employment Type: PRN
• Pay Rate: $30 - $34/hr; (Negotiable based on experience)
• Shift: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team on a PRN basis. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to provide high-quality care to patients. As a PRN LPN, you will work flexible shifts as needed, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of RNs and doctors.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.) for patients who require additional help.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed.
• Document patient care activities and any changes in condition.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Assist in coordinating care plans for patients under the supervision of RNs and physicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervising healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN license in the state of Connecticut.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience .
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
