Job Description

We are looking for detail-oriented and task-driven Warehouse Picker/Packer to join our client’s team in Carrollton, Texas . Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday
First Shift- 4AM-12:30PM
Pay Rate-$19 hourly

Second shift, 12 Noon-8:30pm
Pay Rate: $20 hourly
Plus Overtime, Occasional Saturdays

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside machines to stage and pack metal materials.
• Band metal skids using green or black banding to prevent movement during transport.
• Count and verify material when required.
• Load skids for transport or coordinate with others to move finished materials.
• Pick orders by reviewing paper order sheets, locating materials on the shop floor, and scanning them using an RF scanner.
• Accurately record the material’s location either on paper or into the scan gun.
• Turn in completed orders to the manager for new assignments.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work extended shifts and occasional Saturdays
• Ability to work safely and carefully around heavy machinery
• Successfully pass a skills-based assessment - evaluates your reading, math, inspections & measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Some experience working in a warehouse and manufacturing setting
• Forklift/side-loader experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer
