Position Summary Responsible for the verification and validation of product and system level requirements as well as overall product expectations. Testing will include a variety of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with a focus on electrical and software activities as they relate to vehicle performance, charging and autonomous functions. Successful candidates will possess a passion for hands-on product development, testing and problem solving.
Position Responsibilities - Work with cross functional teams to develop and document test procedures
- Meet with development teams to review specifications and requirements
- Create test approaches and manual test cases for lab and vehicle testing
- Perform a variety of test activities including test fixture design and fabrication
- Generate test data and results as well as deliver results to cross functional teams
- Maintain test equipment and ensure lab areas are kept clean and organized
Position Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited university or other technical degree with relevant industry experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and with a team
Ideal Candidates Will Also Have
- Previous experience with National Instruments equipment
- Working knowledge of automotive standards and best practices
