Job Summary: The Telemetry Registered Nurse provides focused nursing care to adult patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. This role emphasizes clinical assessment, rhythm interpretation, and coordination of care in a fast-paced inpatient setting.



Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing patient monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols.
• Manage ventilated patients in collaboration with respiratory therapy as needed.
• Document nursing care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Cardiac monitoring experience Required
• Minimum 2 years of overall RN experience
• Ventilator care experience
• EPIC EMR experience highly preferred

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required



Certifications

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required

License: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License Required
