Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a neurology setting. Working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, the RN ensures comprehensive, compassionate, and individualized care is provided. The role follows established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage" and promotes positive patient outcomes while upholding the organization's values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon admission and during scheduled shifts, promptly identifying and reporting changes.
• Perform ordered procedures, monitoring, and functions, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and manage any adverse effects.
• Provide exceptional, proactive care by anticipating patient needs and responding promptly to requests.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about diagnoses, treatments, medications, side effects, and discharge planning in clear, understandable language.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 4 years).
• Education:
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or RN Diploma required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Licensure:
  • Current RN license in the state of practice or active compact license, per applicable regulations
