We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a high-volume Birthing Center that serves multiple counties in central New York. The unit averages ~1,000 deliveries annually and provides a collaborative, patient-centered environment supported by midwives, obstetricians, anesthesiologists, lactation consultants, and highly trained nurses.
ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesia providers, and support staff to deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
Support obstetric and neonatal emergencies, including high-acuity cases.
Assist with fetal monitoring, including AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring standards.
Educate patients and families on the birthing process, recovery, and newborn care.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Minimum 2+ years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience.
Active RN license.
Certifications:
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
NRP
AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring
