We’re seeking a dependable, hands-on Production Assistant to support our production team. If you're detail-oriented, technically inclined, and ready to learn, this is a great opportunity to grow with a global leader in surface hardening technology.
What You’ll Do
You'll assist with day-to-day operations in our production facility. You'll support the daily operations of our production facility. After hands-on training, you’ll be able to perform key tasks independently with minimal supervision.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading furnaces
- Performing quality checks and visual inspections
- Cleaning and packing customer parts
- Receiving and logging incoming materials
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment
- Entering job details into our ERP system
As you gain experience, you’ll also learn to:
- Use our QMS and ERP systems effectively
- Support production planning and scheduling
- Perform basic maintenance and equipment repairs
- Perform basic lab work
- Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables
- Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude or prior experience in a production or manufacturing role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own tasks
- Eager to learn and take on a variety of responsibilities
- Basic computer skills: experience with ERP systems is a plus
- Reliable transportation to and from our Twinsburg facility
- High school diploma or GED required
Work Schedule
- Part-time (with potential for full-time in the future)
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 7 AM – 11 AM (occasional weekends, as needed)
