What We're Looking For

As a Plastics Production Specialist, you will:

• Operate key equipment to ensure smooth melt mixing processes.
• Read and interpret daily production instructions to generate high-quality pellets, adhering to our rigorous standards.
• Coordinate closely with team leaders to tackle any challenges that arise.
• Actively participate in team collaborations, offering and receiving support when needed.
• Pass the 90-day probationary period, proving your dedication and fit for the position.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, showcasing your attention to detail and safety compliance.
• Attend team briefings to stay aligned with company objectives.

The Atlas of Physical Requirements

• Bag handling—skills in lifting and positioning bags up to 60 lbs multiple times per shift.
• Input materials into machines—manage amounts up to 40,000 pounds across a shift.
• Licensed and proficient in forklift operation, alongside the use of other necessary equipment.
• Navigate facilities that require climbing stairs or ladders.
• Bend and maneuver in and around blenders, ensuring optimal operations.
• Consistent use of personal protective equipment, particularly in demanding environments.

Qualifications That Matter

• Experience in reading technical instructions and resolving issues on-the-fly.
• Numeracy skills for calculating rates, ratios, and interpreting data visualizations.
• Exemplary attendance, contributing to our around-the-clock operations.
• Experience in heated settings and familiarity with safety practices apply.
• Prepared to transition into 2nd or 3rd shifts based on training performance.
• Proficiency in forklift use and adherence to safety protocols.
