Technology Companies Associate | Mid-Level

Los Angeles or Santa Monica

Our AmLaw 100 client is adding a mid-level associate to its Technology Companies practice in Los Angeles or Santa Monica. This is a true platform role for attorneys who want sustained exposure to venture-backed companies and complex lifecycle work, not a narrow slice of deals.

The group advises technology companies from formation through exit and is deeply embedded in the venture ecosystem, representing both early-stage and late-stage companies on their most important transactions.

The Role

You will work across the full lifecycle of emerging and growth-stage technology companies, including:

• Early and late-stage venture financings

• Mergers and acquisitions

• Private and public offerings

• Day-to-day corporate and strategic matters for high-growth companies

Associates are expected to manage meaningful portions of transactions independently while working closely with partners and senior associates on complex deals.

Candidate Profile

• Mid-level associate with approximately 3 to 6 years of experience

• Background representing technology companies in corporate and transactional matters

• Experience at a comparable law firm

• Strong drafting skills and comfort taking ownership of deal components

• Active bar admission or eligibility to obtain promptly

• Deal sheet required
