Coperion is now seeking an Assembler to join our team in Sabetha, KS!
Assemblers are accountable for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly line machinery and equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
Assembles and tests mechanical product component parts.
Conducts quality control activities and trouble-shooting as needed.
Gathers all materials and parts, including tools, needed for assembly of product.
Transports product through use of forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and by hand.
Completes kitting reports, work orders and other documentation as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and common fractions, and decimals.
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, climb stairs, and ladders.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience operating a forklift, pallet jack, air-driven tools, electrical tools, and hand tools.
