Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) PRN

Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711

Employment Type: PRN

Pay Rate: $25 - $30/hr; (Negotiable based on experience)

Shifts Available: 8-hr Shifts

• Day Shift : 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
• Evening Shift : 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
• Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team on a PRN basis. The LPN will provide direct patient care, assist with medical treatments, and ensure patient comfort and safety during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care under supervision of RNs and physicians
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient progress
• Assist with daily living activities such as hygiene and mobility
• Collaborate with the healthcare team on care plans
• Maintain a safe, clean patient environment
• Document nursing care and patient interactions
• Respond to patient needs and emergencies
• Follow healthcare regulations and policies

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an LPN.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and medications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexible availability for day, evening, or night shifts.
