The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center in Blue Ridge, Georgia. We are hiring a Full-Time Day Shift RN – Preop Nurse for the Surgery/OR Department in Blue Ridge, Georgia.
We’re seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join the Preoperative team in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent patient communication, and experience in preparing patients for surgical procedures.
Provide preoperative assessments, patient education, and preparation for surgery
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure safe and efficient care
Monitor vital signs, review medical history, and verify surgical consents and documentation
Maintain accurate patient records and uphold hospital protocols and safety standards
Active RN license in the state of Georgia
Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience; surgical or preop experience preferred
BLS and ACLS certification required
Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
