Job Title: Forklift Mechanic
Location: Philadelphia, PA (On-site)
Shift: General Day

Job Description:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on forklifts, including inspecting, lubricating, and adjusting components to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on forklifts in a timely manner.
- Conduct thorough inspections of forklifts to identify any potential problems or safety concerns.
- Replace worn or damaged parts and components as needed.
- Test forklifts after repairs to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on each forklift.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new forklifts as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding maintenance schedules, repair timelines, and parts orders.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in forklift technology.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Requirement:
- High School diploma or GED required; additional mechanic training or trade school degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a forklift mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of forklift systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
- Forklift certification and/or relevant technical training preferred

- Ability to follow instructions and standardized procedures accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate to heavy objects.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a safe and productive workplace.
