Job Brief – Finance & Accounting Analyst

We are seeking a General & Operational Accounting Analyst to join our Global Business Support Services Team. The role will focus on the Record-to-Report (R2R) cycle within the general ledger process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and reporting, combined with solid analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining the general ledger .
• Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities

• Manage bank reconciliations (BRS) , fixed assets accounting , accruals, and related activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate inter-company and balance sheet reconciliations .
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, controls, and SLAs .
• Support internal and external audit requirements .
• Coordinate and cooperate effectively with cross-functional teams .
• Provide team support , including management and resolution of team issues.
• Perform ad-hoc accounting and reporting activities as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in Commerce, M.Com, MBA (Finance) , or equivalent qualification in the finance domain.
• Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in general ledger accounting (insert based on requirement).

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and finance processes .
• Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems – SAP preferred.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office , especially Excel.

Soft Skills

• Knowledge of accounting standards and reporting practices.
• Proven ability in financial reporting and reconciliations .
• Ability to work effectively within tight timelines and deadlines .
• Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
• Resilient under pressure, with strong stress management and patience .
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
