Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events from concept to completion. You will collaborate with vendors, manage budgets, and ensure all events run smoothly and successfully, leaving a lasting impression on participants.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute events, including meetings, conferences, and corporate gatherings.
Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiations, catering, and audiovisual setup.
Create and maintain event timelines, budgets, and checklists.
Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure a seamless experience.
Handle on-site event issues promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote events.
Track event performance and prepare post-event reports with recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in event coordination or a similar role.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as required.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
