Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department for patients experiencing acute medical conditions.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform necessary medical procedures.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and prioritize patient needs accordingly.
- Document nursing care and patient progress in electronic health records accurately and efficiently.
- Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and preventative care.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to nursing practice development and improvement initiatives.
Essential Qualifications:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelorâs Degree in Nursing.
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California.
- CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Desired Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, specifically in an Emergency Department setting.
- Proficiency in critical care nursing practices and emergency response protocols.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems is preferred.
