Director of Sales, Marketing & Events
Monterey Peninsula, CA | $150,000–$210,000
We’re seeking a results-driven hospitality leader to oversee Sales, Marketing, and Catering operations at our luxury hotel on the Monterey Peninsula. This senior executive role leads a high-performing team, drives revenue, develops key client relationships, and shapes the hotel’s strategic direction.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead Sales & Catering Managers and hourly Coordinators.
- Drive group, corporate, SMERFE, and catering revenue growth.
- Develop and execute strategic sales, marketing, and event plans.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and community engagements.
- Collaborate across departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5–7+ years of progressive HOTEL Sales, Catering, Event & Marketing leadership experience, including executive-level management.
- Must have Grounded & Stable experience in BOTH "HOTEL" Sales, Catering Event & Marketing Management
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals and managing large budgets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of the Monterey Peninsula market a plus, preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $150,000–$210,000 salary range
