About Us: Here at I29 Truck Shop LLC in Brookings SD, we pride ourselves on providing top-notch service and maintenance for diesel trucks. We are currently seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team and help us continue to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Pay -$25 to $35+ DOE
Variety of duties include: Servicing semi trucks, wheel seals, brakes, clutches, transmission work. Small repair jobs to large repair jobs.
Paid holidays and vacation time
401K/IRA
Requirements:
Tools and 1 year experience working as a mechanic.
HOURS - Monday to Friday 8 - 530. We understand the importance of your weekends being free for your family and friends!
Responsibilities: As a Diesel Mechanic at I29 Truck Shop LLC, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related components. You will perform routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure that all trucks are running smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing any issues that may arise, as well as keeping accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance. They will be familiar with a wide range of tools and equipment commonly used in the industry, and will have a keen eye for detail. A passion for problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work is a must for this position.
Requirements: To be considered for the position of Diesel Mechanic at I29 Truck Shop LLC, candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a valid driver's license and clean driving record. They must also have at least 2 years of experience working as a diesel mechanic, and must be able to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment. ASE certification is preferred but not required.
