Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring precise and timely financial entries and reconciliations in accordance with internal controls.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities by providing strategic and operational insights.
  • Conduct variance analysis across production, inventory, and expenditures to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Maintain and validate standard cost models and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Analyze cost variances and propose corrective actions to optimize financial performance.
  • Monitor fixed cost absorption and support initiatives to improve profit margins.
  • Coordinate the annual standard cost roll processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Integrate financial insights with production and inventory data to provide actionable insights.
  • Embed key financial metrics into plant performance indicators and dashboards.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives across financial and operational processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with a focus on manufacturing cost accounting; experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to prepare comprehensive financial reports and offer data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of inventory accounting, processes, and controls.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions, with a practical and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Capability to translate financial data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong organizational abilities.
