Job Description

Kelaca is looking for a Banking Regional Physical Security Manager for our client partner in Raleigh, NC . This position owns physical security for branches and large or densely staffed facilities. You will lead risk assessments, incident response, and technical security from design through implementation. And you will serve as the internal subject matter expert, coordinate with law enforcement, and drive projects tied to new construction and major renovations.

What you’ll do

  • Manage physical security programs, technical security, security operations, and threat management.
  • Advise leaders on risk, impact, and liability. Provide consultative support on employee issues and emergency exit strategies.
  • Create security system designs. Manage vendors and installers. Oversee commissioning and handover.
  • Provide monitoring and technical support for access control, video, and intrusion systems.
  • Conduct risk and threat assessments for new and existing facilities. Ensure controls meet tolerance levels and remain effective.
  • Lead incident response for crime and other events affecting operations, associates, or clients. Maintain incident records and evidence.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement and public officials to support investigations and legal response.
  • Plan and manage security projects linked to construction and major renovations. Track scope, schedule, budget, and outcomes.
  • Maintain current awareness of security regulations, criminal codes, and industry trends. Build relationships with peers to enable information sharing.

What you’ll bring

Must-haves

  • 7 to 10 years in physical security, security operations, or corporate security for multi-site environments. Financial services or similarly regulated industry experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise access control, video management, intrusion, and case or incident management platforms.
  • Proven incident leadership and coordination with law enforcement.
  • Strong project management from design through cutover.
  • Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to branch and office locations.

Nice to have

  • Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, PMP, or CFE.
  • Experience integrating security systems during construction and renovations.
  • Familiarity with policy writing, standards, and playbooks.
